Avalanche Awareness

Description:

The School of Outreach teams up with the Friends of the Gallatin National Forest to offer a free Basic Avalanche Awareness Workshop. During this hour-long multi-media presentation, participants will learn to recognize avalanche terrain, how the weather affects the avalanche hazard and the development of the mountain snowpack.
